How SIRIAM works

Skin, nerves and specific body regions.

No complicated terminology. Four ideas are enough to understand what SIRIAM is designed for.

01

Your skin is organised in areas

The surface of the body is not one uniform sheet. It is organised in bands and fields, each connected to a particular part of the nervous system.

02

Each area has a partner inside the body

An area of skin, a group of muscles and deeper structures can share the same nerve supply. That is why practitioners often work on the surface of one specific region.

03

SIRIAM products are made for one area

Every SIRIAM product is developed around one clearly described region, rather than around a complaint. The name of the product tells you which area it belongs to.

04

Application is simple and repeatable

A thin layer, twice a day, on the area indicated by your practitioner. Most products have a phase 1 and a phase 2 that follow one another over the weeks.

Language

How we describe things

SIRIAM describes where a product is designed to be applied and how it is composed. It does not promise a result.

We say

  • “designed for application on a defined area”
  • “developed around an associated anatomical region”
  • “supports the SIRIAM application concept”
  • “for professional guidance where appropriate”

We do not say

SIRIAM products are cutaneous topical compositions. They are not medicinal products, they do not treat or cure, and nothing here replaces the advice of your practitioner.
