SIRIAM Conceptual Model

Within the SIRIAM Conceptual Model, application to the Pre-SCM Neurodermal Application Zone is considered to support the functional integration of the OAA Application Field.

This interpretation is based on the anatomical relationship between the upper cervical region, the cervical branch of the facial nerve and the embryological organization of the hindbrain, from which the facial motor nuclei develop.

The proposed relationship serves as a conceptual framework for formulation design and anatomical organization. It should not be interpreted as evidence that topical application directly influences the facial motor nuclei or central nervous system activity.
